Abstract: | Conclusion It is evident, from what has been discussed, that the L. forest culture theory might be disproved on account of some doubtful points. The hypothesis will hold, however, that the rice farming in the prehistoric age was introduced through the L. forest zone from the mouth of the Yangtzu Chian to N Kyushu. Therefore, for the present we can at least recognize that the L. forest culture was established mainly on the basis of rice farming. |
