Well logging neutron generator

Well logging neutron generator is a controllable radioactive source which is widely used in radioactive logging. It is also a core component of the neutron logging tools such as C/O log, neutron lifetime log, pulsed neutron oxygen activation log etc. A few kinds of well logging neutron generators are introduced, and the working principle, constitutes, key technology are described. Pulsed neutron/gamma-ray log is widely used for dynamic monitoring in oilfield. The technical means of broadband and sharp cutoff are introduced. Disclosed is the research progress on stable yield output of neutron generator and successful experiments for elemental analysis.
