He has more than eight years experience in optimizing water resources problems and modeling geological systems. Dr. Brian S. Hooker;(MSIN P7-41, Battelle PNNL, Richland, WA 99352) is a senior research engineer at Battelle Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Washington State University. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington. He has more than 12 years experience in developing various biochemical treatment processes. Dr. James N. Petersen;(Chemical Engineering Department, WSU, Pullman, WA 99164) is a professor at Washington State University. He received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Iowa State University and has been involved in teaching and research in environmental and chemical engineering areas for the past 17 years.
