Some doubts about the Lishan-Jiangyin barrier on the borderland of Jiangsu Zhejiang and Anhui Provinces and others

On the borderland of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces the Changhsing limestone facies was different from the Talung clastic facies along a line drawn from Yixingto Jiangyin during the latest Permian (Changhsingian). This difference was interpretedas owing to a Lishan-Jiangyin land barrier lying between Guangde and Jiangyin. Up tonow, within the limits of this land barrier a Changhsingian transitional facies, whichconsists of mudstones with limestone lens intercalations and which contains Palaeofusulinasp., Neogondolella subcarinata, N. deflecta, N. changxingensis and so on, is known to us.It is evident that during the Changhsingian the so-called Lishan-Jiangyin barrier did notexist in this region because the occurrence of Changhsingian sediments.
