| Abstract: | This paper discusses the current basic research problems mainly in reflection seismology involved in petroleum exploration in China.They are accurate imaging deep reflectors in difficult areas;information theory of seismic wavefield;and direct prediction of burred oil and gas fields via geophysical data. |
