| Abstract: | 'This paper discusses the influence of sampling density and line thickness upon the quality of reproduction during digitization of weather facsimile charts. Experimental set-up for this investigation is also briefly described.
Results have shown that the sampling density and the line thickness of transmitted charts should be limited in order to avoid distortion during charts reproduction. |
