Abstract:The diagenetic state of ore-bearing strata was that of semi-cementation during the ore-forming period of Jinding Pb-Zn deposit. The strata were ancient aquifers with stronger water-conducting and storing capacity. The result of the restored evolutional history of regional geology and paleohydrogeology demonstrated that only possible period for ore-forming is Yunlong ( Ey ) . By the analysis of the remains of paleohydrogeology of ore deposit, combined with the sedimentary fades analysis of the ore-bearing strata, the movement of the ore fluid can be expressed that the fluid came from deep part; when it met with the barrier of overlying foreign nappe, it turned its moving direction toward a dome in the ancient lake basin
