前兆震群和S波偏振

海城地震前的小震群活动构成了显著的前兆震群, 并在预报这次地震中起到了一定的作用.其他许多中国的大地震象海城地震一样, 也有类似的前兆震群.我们利用 S 波资料研究这些前兆震群的初步结果表明, 它们的 S 波偏振性质是相当稳定的. 

PRECURSORY EARTHQUAKE SWARM AND THE POLARIZATION OF S-WAVE

The activities of swarms of small earthquakes before the Haicheng earthquake were obviously precursory earthquake swarms. They played an important role in the prediction of the Haicheng Earthquake. Many other violent earthquakes sofar occurred in China, similar to the Haicheng earthquake, also had precursory earthquake swarms. The preliminary results obtained from the study of the precursory earthquake swarms by using the data of S-wave show that the polarization properties of S-wave were quite stationary.
