| Abstract: | An experimental method for the continuous determination of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide was attempted during a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea. The method, which uses infrared analysis of air continuously equilibrated with pumped seawater, is described. Calculations to obtain pCO2 in seawater from measured pCO2 are given with an example of the results. |
