218Po法找盲矿体初见成效

本文首先为寻找盲矿体介绍一种快速测氡方法——²¹⁸Po法。接着概述方法的工作原理、特点,以及找矿效果。然后从氡气运移角度出发,阐述了²¹⁸Po法找盲矿体的可能性。最后着重介绍²¹⁸Po法测量结果的解释方法。由此可以看出:²¹⁸Po法测量不仅可以用来找寻盲矿体,而且利用它的测量结果有可能定量预测盲矿体的埋藏深度与规模。

THE INITIAL RESULTS OF USING 218Po METHODPROSPECTING FOR BLIND OREBODIES

Arapid radon survey method for detecting blind orebodies, the ²¹⁸Po me thod, is presented in this paper. The working principle, characteristics and ore-searching effects of this method are described in brief, and the possibility of using²¹⁸Po method in search for blind orebody is discussed. In the end, the interpretation methods for the result of ²¹⁸Po survey is emphatically illustra ted. It is obvious that the ²¹⁸Po survey technique can be used not only to look for blind orebodies, but to predict quantitatively buried depths and sizes of blind orebodies.
