| Abstract: | We determined several digestive enzyme activities in the larvae of penaeusjaponicus using enzyme analytical method. The experimental results indicate thatthe activities of pepsin enzyme and tryptase increase and the activities of amylase enzyme reduce during larval development of prawn. The activities of cellulaseenzyme and lipase are fairly low. The activities of pepsin enzyme, tryptase andamylase change remarkably in feeding habits transformation. In addition we suggest that the ratio of amylase to tryptase enzyme activities (A/T) can be usedas the feeding habits target of crustacean larvae. |
