| Abstract: | In this paper,the grillage structure is calculated by employing the discrete model with the plate elements and equivalent stiffness beam elements. The results are compared with those obtained from the structure model of plate and membrane elements. The advantages and the disadvantages of using the equivalent stiffness beam elements in the structure analysis are also presented. |
