| Abstract: | A new mathematical approach to the study of radionuclide dispersion in the marine environment using compartmental models is presented in this paper. Under some general assumptions the transfer coefficients for the models are expressed as functions of water movement and the geometry of the compartments. In this way, it would be possible to model systems for which no previous radiological historyu exists. |
