| Abstract: | The discovery of cross-linked hetero-aromatic polymersin interstellar dust by instruments aboard theStardust spacecraft would confirm the validity of thebiological grain model that was suggested fromspectroscopic studies over 20 years ago. Suchstructures could represent fragments of cell wallsthat survive 30 km s-1 impacts onto detector surfaces. |
