| Abstract: | We consider the heating of the solar plages to be due to the Alfven waves having ponderomotive force. Assuming a certain field configuration, we derived the formula for the turbulence heating of plages by Alfven waves. Our calculated plage temperature distribution is in agreement with the observed distribution. |
