沿海地区可持续发展研究的地理视角与贡献

可持续发展思想从各方面为地理学的发展注入了强大的推动力．地理学也在可持续发展研究中发挥了巨大作用，表现在地理学已成为可持续发展的理论基础以及为可持续发展研究提供方法支撑等。作为反映人海交互作用力最明显的典型区域，沿海地区可持续发展相关研究已受到普遍关注与重视。在可持续发展研究的基础上，地理学对沿海地区可持续发展的研究特别是在人地关系及其优化、可持续发展的区域性与差异性、可持续发展的产业结构与布局、资源环境承载力、城市可持续发展等方面展开了研究。本文从地理学视角探讨了地理学对沿海地区可持续发展的研究领域与贡献，并提出未来地理学应该适应可持续发展研究的需要．进一步加强地理综合集成与地理信息技术应用等方面的研究。

Study on the Sustainable Development of Coastal Area: A Geographical Perspective and Contribution

The concept of sustainable development has generated tremendous motive force for the development of geography in many aspects. And geography in turn plays an important role in the studies of sustainable development, the expression of which is that geography provides some fundamental theories and methodologies for the studies of sustainable development. Coastal areas are typically and evidently characterized by the interaction between human and sea. Studies concerning these areas＂ sustainable development have attracted wide attention. Based on the studies of sustainable development, geographers＂ studies cover such research topics as man- land relationship and its optimization, regional differentiation of sustainable development, sustainable industrial structure and location, carrying capability of resource and environment and urban sustainable development. Keeping in mind the current situation of studies on sustainable development of coastal areas, this paper, from a geographical perspective, focuses on what contribution geography can make to the coastal areas＂ sustainable development, and what kinds of geographical studies have been carried out in this field. Furthermore it is proposed that geography gear itself to the need of sustainability and step up the integration approach and the employment of geographic information system（GIS）.
