| Abstract: | The equatorial value of normal gravity and the length of the semi-major axis of the currently used International spheroid
1930, appear to be mutually inconsistent in the light of the new astronomical values forKM and ω adopted by the International Union of Astronomy in 1964. This note accordingly suggests a new value for the length
of its semi-major axis to remove this inconsistency. |
