| Abstract: | In this paper,the lateral vibration dynamic analysis model of continuous box girder viaduct is presented in which the bending,torsion and distortion of box girder can be considered.Bridge pier is idealized as an assemblage of space beam elements.Continuous box is idealized as an assemblage of box beam elements.The element stiffness matrices and mass matrices are derived.Lateral vibration natural frequency and mode of long span continuous box girder viaduct are calculated by use of the subspace iteration method. |
