Study on pullout failure mechanism of inserted foundation

Abstract:Based on the pullout test of angle steel inserted foundation,the bond performance and stress distribution between the angle steel and concrete are discussed. The influence on the pullout failure of inserted foundation is analyzed. The variation law of coefficient of friction of inserted foundation is emphatically investigated; and the average friction coefficient which is up to pratice and design is presented.
