The Tanganyika Department of Lands and Surveys is to be congratulated on the successful Kilimanjaro Heighting Expedition recorded in the January 1954 issue of this Review (xii, 91, 194–210). In particular, K. T. Pugh is to be commended for his tenacity in makjng the summit observations under trying conditions.
