AN ANALYSIS ON TYPICAL GEOLOGIC HAZARD_THREATENING SUBSECTION IN THE SOUTH JIANGXI SECTION OF BEJING-JIULONG RAILWAY AND THE CORRESPONDING COUNTERMEASURES |

| Abstract: | Based on roadbed, karst,tunnel and other engineering geological problems, an analysis has been made on typical geologic hazard_threatening subsection in the South Jiangxi section of Beijing-Jiulong Railway.As a consequence,suggestions have been made of strengthening the overall stabilities of natural environments by controlling overpumping of groundwater and rational drainage etc.The railway department should cooperate with the geological ,the meteorological and the environmental protection departments to work out countermeasures to reduce hazards in order to protect the railway and bring benefit to mankind. |
