| Abstract: | This paper provides a systematical elaboration of current situation of reed production of the wetland in Panjin, and an analysis of primary factors for restricting the reed production of the wetland. Effective countermeasures for increasing reed production were proposed. A comprehensive analysis of economic, ecological and social bene fits after implementation was conducted for each of the proposed measures, in order to provide a scientific basis and a practical technical guidance for the development and expansion of the reed industry in Panjin. |
