| Abstract: | Six criteria for prognosising diamond original deposit are summarized in this paper. They are (1) favourable geological conditions for diamoud original deposit outcropping; (2) suitable geological age of the platform fundament; (3) particular remote sensing images and anomaly characteristics for geophysical and geochemical prospecting; (4) specific indicating minerals for kimberlite; (5) kimberlites and their interrelated rocks; and (6) occurrence of kimberlites and their interrelated rocks and geomorphic characteristics. |
