| 摘 要： | In the small-amplitude limit,the solution of SKAWs (Solitary Kinetic Alfven Waves) can be expressed by the KdV soliton solution.However,some recent observations from the Freja spacecraft showed that the strong electromagnetic spikesin the auroral should be finite-amplitude SAWs.Here,the comparison between the finite-amplitued and the small amplitude SKAWs is made,and their main characteristics are presented,by use of the analystical solution of finite-amplitude SKAWs obtained by Wu et al.(Ref.8]) and the KdV soliton solution.
