| Abstract: | A Colour modify test on sapphire occurred in the provinces of Shandong and Jiangsu is carried out in the paper.The test was mainly through heat treatment of high temperature to improve the transparency and brightness as well as the grade of sapphire.In addition,the author discusses the colour assuming mechanism of sapphire,considering that the assumption of colour is resulted from the transference of electric charge,and its colour assuming mechanism may be explained by the theory of molecular orbit. |
