湖南找矿突破浅议

根据对湖南成矿地质背景的新认识,指出全省矿产资源结构特点是:复矿多,单矿少;贫矿多,富矿少;小矿多,大矿少。过去大中小并举,贫富兼顾的找矿指导思想符合实际。同时又指出,少数大型、超大型矿床多以不同类型矿床组合的形式构成独立的矿田。“八五”期间针对独立矿田全面勘查,将会在特大或特富、特缺、特殊等矿床方面有所突破。

ELEMENTARY OPINION ABOUT THE ORE-FINDING BREAKTHROUGH IN HUNAN

According to the new understanding about the ore-forming geologic background of Hunan province, the structural feature of the mineral resources of the whole province is pointed out to be that: composite deposits are many while single deposits are just a few, poor ore is abundant while rich ore is only a little; small deposits are many while large-scale deposits are just a few. The guiding ideology that look for large, middle and small scale deposits simultaneously, and give consideration to both poor and rich ones in the past tallies with the practice.It is also pointed out that a few large, super large scale deposits often constitute independent ore fields in the form of combination of deposits varying in ore species The overall exploration directed at independent ore field in eighth five-year period will bring break through in finding super large or super rich deposits or special deposits which are urgently needed.
