| Abstract: | New photometric and spectroscopic observations yield further evidence for the binary nature of the early-type star HR 3084. Shape and small amplitude of the visual and IR light curves indicate that the light variations are essentially due to ellipsoidal effects rather than to  Cep variability.Based on observations collected at the European Southern Observatory, La Silla, Chile. |
