Abstract:In the face of natural disasters,it is of great significance to show the disaster situation in the disaster area in time to assist the command to make decisions,enhance the transparency of information dissemination,guarantee the reasonable right of the masses to know,and prevent the spread of rumors.Combining VR with Web GIS,using the advantages of utilizing panoramic map to display disaster information,we used the public maps,open source panoramic reconstruction,mobile panoramic photography and other technologies to design a system,which could build a panoramic scene of the disaster area in a few minutes with no cost and no additional equipment.
