| Abstract: | A turbine based on Magnus effect may be utilized for extracting energy from tidal current.In this paper,its power coefficient was calculated with a simplified method,and the influence of some factors on its characteristics was discussed.The results presented here may be useful if a turbine of this kind is chosen when designing an efficient device taking energy from tidal current. |
