Abstract:With the mixed-culture,the growth and inhibitory effects of marine red algae Gracilaria lemaneiformis and its water extract on two HAB algae Heterosigma akashiwo and Prorocentrum micans are studied and the possible mechanisms discussed.The results show that Heterosigma akashiwo had the fastest growth rates when the nitrogen and phosphorus concentration was 0.264 6 mmol/L and 0.108 6 mmol/L respectively,and 0.176 4 mmol/L and 0.072 4 mmol/L respectively for Prorocentrum micans.The inhibitory effects of Graci...
