| Abstract: | The paper presents a heavy-tamping method which can be used in the construction of the reinforce foundation. Because of the thicker plain fill and lower load-bearing capacity of the ground in a construction site of Xaimen City, the heavy tamper has to be applied on tamping plain fill in the construction of the foundation stabilization, which can upgrade the load-bearing capacity of the foundation and meet with the design requirement of the construction. |
