| |
Abstract: | AbstractThe content of topographic and planimetric maps in relation to vegetation is examined with reference to the evaluation of contouring, the degree to which vegetation impedes movement, forestry, recreation, the planning of development projects, route planning, vegetation as base map information, and land use. This is an extension of the paper published in the Cartographic Journal, vol. 2, no. 2, and refers in particular to Africa South of the Sahara. |
