The structure of the Moine-like rocks near Lough Derg,County Donegal,Eire
Authors:G J Borradaile
Abstract:The Moine-like rocks are shown to have major, southward-leaning, isoclinal F2 folds which may be synchronous with the nappe-like Ballybofey Antiform of the overlying Dalradian rocks. The deformation of the immediately adjacent Dalradian rocks is consistent with a previous suggestion that they are in contact with the Moine-like rocks along a major tectonic slide.
