| Abstract: | Taking Shandong Peninsula as an example, this article systematically discusses the characteristic sedimentary environment of lagoons. It includes: ( 1 ) relations concerning the exchange between the sea water and the lagoon water; ( 2 ) the changeful salinity of lagoons and ( 3 ) shallow water areas with lower energy and more sedimentary origins. The article provides useful data for the exploitation and application of lagoons. |
