| 摘 要： | Eucheuma gelatinae (esper)J.Agardh has vegetative and reproductive features distinguishing it fromother species of Eucheuma.The occurrence of reproductive nemathecia containing carpogonial branches,auxiliary cells and post-fertilization stages including gonimoblast and pericarp initiation,fusion cell foram-tion stages and carposporophyte development are described and ilustrated for the first time for this species.
