摘    要:在简单介绍岩体经验强度准则的内容、发展历程及其对岩体破坏表述的基础上,系统阐述了该准则在地质工程各领域研究和应用现状,并对制约它在我国推广和应用的直接原因——岩体宏观经验参数m、s的取值方法的不足进行剖析。

Abstract:Hoek-Brown strength criterion is a famous non-linear strength criterion in the world, which is put forward by E. Hoek in 1980. On the basis of introducing its content and development history, the authors expound the research present state systematically on the criterion applied in geotechnical engineering, and analyze the reason why the criterion has not been widely applied in our country, that is, it is difficult for us to determine the empirical parameters m and s correctly.
