| Abstract: | Trichloro-n-octadecyl silanized porous glass is used to sample compounds of low polarity from natural seawater. Recoveries of some spike compounds were found to be semiquantitative. However, silanized porous glass is easy to keep free of contamination, has a comparatively high adsorption capacity, and permits the fractionated desorption of sampled compounds. |
