| Abstract: | :
This paper studies the application of structure elements of morphological transform in edge feature extraction and bar noises removement. As a result of many experiment, it can be considered that provided structure elements are appropriately selected the feature image required can be extracted and some kinds of noises can be removed, which size may be determined by the size of structure element.
The image matching may not be directly based on the edge extracted from the morphologically transformed image because of its translation. |
