| Abstract: | The Late Pleistocene history of the Caspian and Black seas is considered. It is suggested that the New-Euxinian basin was to a great degree due to the penetration of the Caspian water through the Manych depression into the Black Sea during the Caspian-Early Khvalynian transgression. |
