| Abstract: | The distribution patterns of rare earth elements and Sr, Nd isotopic compositions of pitchblende and country rocks in uranium deposit No. 8412 have been studied. The data show that the pitchblende was formed under the conditions of similar continental rift activity. It is obviously different from the uranium deposits in South China which were possibly derived from country rocks themselves. Consequently, it is possible to trace the uranium source according to the distribution patterns of rare earth elements of pitchblende. |
