| Abstract: | With the help of GIS,various environmental information may be obtained, saved, supervised and displayed easily, the basic ideas, development modes, system texture and functions of the WebGIS used in the fields of environmental protection are stated. In terms of the issues like severe environmental pollution and information lag in the city of Xuzhou, the WebGIS provides an effective solu- tion channel in controlling the environmental pollution. |
