摘 要: | 巢湖平卧褶皱由一个背斜和一个向斜组成,枢纽呈NNE向,轴面微向NWW平卧背斜根部倾斜。卷入褶皱的地层为上震旦统至上三叠统,厚达3.1km。褶皱分布面积约380km~2,波长9km,波幅18km。后期直立褶皱叠加于平卧褶皱之上,褶皱缩短量达19.17km,缩短率约53.7%,褶皱受控于大玵台阶状滑脱断层。褶皱地层由NWW往SEE运动,是一种变动滑脱褶皱。

RESEARCH ON THE HUGE RECUMBENT FOLDS, CHAOHU, ANHUI PROVINCE |

Abstract: | The Chaohu recumbent folds consist of one anticline and one syncline. Their hinges extend N-N-E and their axial planes dip slightly W-N-W to the root of the anticline. The strata from the Upper Sinian to the Upper Triassic (3.1 km in thickness) are involved in the folds. The folds wavelength is about 9 km and amplitude about 18 km and they cover about 380 km~2. The later upright folds are superimposed on the recumbent folds, and caused the superimposed folds to be shortened by 19.17 km in all (the shortening ratio is 53.7%). It is suggested that a large stepped detachment fault, strata of which move from WNW towards ESE, controlled the formation of the whole folds. So the folds can be called "translated detachment folds". |
