广东山区现代化发展水平评析及制约因素辨识--以梅州市为例

定量评价梅州市现代化水平现状，并与广东省平均水平和珠江三角洲地区进行对比分析，在此基础上，辨识梅州市现代化建设的主要制约因素，提出加快山区现代化建设的战略途径。

AN ANALYSIS OF THE PRESENT CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIVE FACTORS FOR THE MODERNIZATION IN GUANGDONG MOUNTAIN AREAS--A Case Study of Meizhou Region

The modernization index system of basically realizing modernization of socialism in Guangdong Province is used to analysis the present conditions of modernization development in Meizhou region. As compared with the average level of Gunagdong and the Zhujiang Delta, the major limitative factors for the development of Meizhou are considered, which are the economic basis is poor, the science and technology are less developed, the ability of technological development and innovation is weak, and the progress of urbanization is slow and the level of urbanization is low. In this paper some suggestions about strategic ways to promote modernization in mountain areas are put forward,which are the character economic strategy, the technologic innovation strategy,the famous brand strategy and the urbanization strategy.
