Abstract:A new method for precursory information extraction, i.e., slope-difference information method is proposed in the paper for the daily-mean-value precursory data sequence. Taking Tangshan station as an example, the calculation of full-time-domain leveling data is made, which is tested and compared with several other methods. The results indicate that the method is very effective for extracting short-term precursory information from the daily mean values after the optimization is made. Therefore, it is valuable for popularization and application.
