Geographical Conditions and the Varied but Integrated Structure of China's Historical Development

In this paper, the author points out that social development can be greatly affected by the geographical conditions. In case of China's historical development, the closeness of geographical conditions laid the foundation of a united multi national country, inside this country, the internal differences had been an important factor of national antagonism and regional separation and the transformation of geographical conditions further increase the regional inequity of social development. Finally, the author concludes that the formation of the varied but integrated structure of politics, economy and culture is attributed to the closeness and variety of the geographical conditions in China.
