Abstract: | The thermal conductivity of an Apollo 12 fines sample (12001,19) was measured under vacuum conditions over a temperature range of 200 K to 400 K for a density of 1640 kg/m3. It was found to vary from approximately 1.2 × 10–3 W/m – K to about 2.6 × 10–3 W/m – K respectively. A least-squares curve fitted to the data according to the relationk =A +BT
3 was found to represent the data satisfactorily. |
