| Abstract: | A method to determine the existing forms of sulfur by means of thermodynamic calculations is presented in this paper, and the existing forms of sulfur in ore-forming hydrothermal solutions in Xiangshan ore-field have been calculated with the technique. The results show that under the strong reduccing environment with a large amount of CH_4 and H_2, the major existing form pof sulfur in the hydrothermal solutions is HS~- or H_2S instead of SO_4~(2-), and the pH value has a great influence upon the existing forms of sulfur as well. |
