Abstract:The gray power model is an improved model of the gray GM(1,1)model,which has nonlinear characteristics.Compared with the GM(1,1)model,the NGBM(1,1)model has higher prediction accuracy and a wider range of application.It has been applied in economics,agriculture,and meteorology except deformation monitoring.Basing on the classical gray system theory,this paper applied the NGBM(1,1)model to deformation monitoring.Firstly,it obtained the background value by accumulating the original deformation monitoring data.Secondly,the optimal power index value and ash action value were obtained according to the original data.Thirdly,the solved parameters were applied to model the existing data and predict the slope Monitoring data.The experimental results shown that the prediction accuracy of the NGBM(1,1)model was higher than that of the traditional GM(1,1).
