| Abstract: | Taking a copper tailing pond in Tongling,Anhui Province as the research area,the laser scanning 3D modeling technology of copper tailing pond was analyzed in detail from four aspects of scanning system selection,field data collection,point cloud data processing and result output to build a 3D model that can truly reflect the terrain fluctuation conditions of tailing pond;then,based on the modeling results,through programming and data format conversion,the point cloud data were imported into the numerical analysis software to simulate and analyze the movement and evolution process of tailings sand at different times after the dam break,which could provide scientific guidance for the scientific evaluation of the risk of dam break. |
