Micro-Basins on Slopes in Arnhem Land,Northern Territory,Australia: Characteristics and Development

The development of micro-basins on quartzite ridges in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia, is presented. It is suggested that micro-basin development depends on the complex interaction of tree growth and decay, rock fabric and termite activity. The micro-basins have a role in the morphological development of slopes on the quartzite.
